Chef Zor Tan

Chef Zor Tan’s love for food began at home, shaped by his parents’ cooking and the belief that “吃饱就是幸福” — contentment comes from a full belly.

He trained at Restaurant Jaan and Restaurant André, later becoming Executive Chef at André in 2017. Earlier, under André Chiang’s mentorship, he served as Co-Executive Chef of RAW in Taiwan, where he deepened his understanding of Taiwanese cuisine.

After André’s closure, Zor led Sichuan Moon at Wynn Palace, Macau, blending French technique with Sichuan flavours. The restaurant earned 2 Michelin stars in its first year and ranked #23 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2020.

At Born, Zor presents his contemporary cuisine while mentoring the next generation, emphasizing responsibility and the spirit of 传承 (inheritance).
